Want To Make Money Out Out Of Your Blog? Then Don't Try So!!

"What?", yes, that's right, i wrote that title, your eyes are not cheating on you.
I'm opening my blog so i want to share this concept with you.
Everyone loves money, and today, people loves to blog, because they can make them money.
Now, you're probabily reading this and thinking either "meh" or "I've tried, i didn't get rich" or "true". If you are in that last group, there is no point if you keep reading, since you know what i'll talk about.
Most people starts blogging and they learn the basics this way "adsense", "ads", "earn", "clicks", "backlinks", "links", "more links", "pagerank" and "content".
Now, think it as a reader: what makes you want to visit a blog (or any website) over and over?
Is it the ads it has on it? NO
Is because they love to click your ads? NO
Is it because they love popular stuff? (maybe) NO
Is it because you have high PR? NO (that might be making them to land in your site, but that's all)
Is it because of your content? YES!!!!!
So, nothing new, if you never heard "content is the king" and you are on internet marketing, you aren't onto it deeply enough.
Now, you know "content is the king", and you know is true but, do you really apply that? Or you go for the links, the PR and the ads before focusing on your content?
I mean, i smoke 10 cigarettes/day, and i know smoking is bad. You know bad content is not useful, but do you still use it?
I've seeen people failing over and over because they just used copy/paste, wrote something not useful ("I've made tons of money with affiliate programs, buy my e-book", right, selling ebooks about making money with affiliate programs is making money with affiliate programs, who cares?), or just a good article with tons of links, surrounded by 7 ad boxes, 80 outbound links and all that.
So what's the point? BE YOUR CONTENT!!! that's right. Write about something you like and know about, don't write or rewrite about mesothelioma or treating lung cancer, if you were a doctor you wouldn't be blogging for money. You will find out that people loves what you write. Or even say something than someone else said, and add your own toughts about it.
Let's put a random example: you love golf, you're writing about club sticks, and you say "the graphite sticks are better than iron sticks....", the iron sticks lovers will disrespect you. So browse the web (yes, google is useful besides adsense) and see what other people thinks about that. Then you can add to the previous statement "...everyone knows that" or "...even though some pople will find iron sticks more comfortable". That gives you respect, a reputation, and people will see that you know your stuff and not only filling space in your blog.
If i read something on a topic i like, and the guy knows about it, surely i will want to know what else he wants to say, so i might suscribe to his feed or go back to his site.
Be creative, be a writer and a reader. You will always find criticism, be your worst critic, that is what makes quality to come.
Go ahead and try, give your visitor an experience, make him to be back. And, of course, if you write something they know about and they like, they'll say "hhm, nice blog", give an over look and probabily se an ad of their interest, instead of saying "what a crap" at the time they press that little "x" on the top of the browser that will bury your site for ever.
Good luck, I'll be back with more thoughts, you never know who will find them useful!
See you around!
